DAN LEMONNIER - BIOGRAPHY
Storytelling is perhaps the oldest art form on earth. Passed from on from generation to generation, stories provide the road maps that guide our lives. From ancient myths and world folk tales to our own personal odysseys, sharing stories help us to understand who we are, where we've been and where we are going.
Never told the same way twice, stories are alive and create a unique intimacy between listener and teller. The listener's mind becomes a stage where stories unfold and span differences of age, culture and geography. Storytelling entertains, stimulates the imagination and transmits wisdom and values.
For more than twenty years, I have toured the country telling, listening and collecting tales that intrigue and excite me. I've performed everywhere from the Smithsonian Institution and the 53rd Presidential Inaugural to schools, churches, libraries and community arts centers throughout the United States. I have over 25 different themed programs that include history, literature, holidays, world folk and fairy tales, positive life choices, family and faith. And I can create a customized program to suite your special event or theme.
